The Moleskine iPad Tablet Cover & Volant Notebook is compatible with the iPad 3 (also known as the New iPad or iPad with Retina Display) as well as the 4th generation iPad version (known for the new lightning connector when you plug the iPad in to charge), and is designed to combine analog and digital devices for a compact, portable workstation. It helps protect your iPad against impact and scratches, while also providing a convenient place to take notes.

The classic Moleskine smooth black cover with rounded corners and an elastic closure keeps your iPad 3 or 4 and Moleskine Volant Notebook protected. The rounded spine allows the tablet cover to lay flat when opened fully, and the inside is covered in soft, ivory faux-suede. A sturdy black frame holds the iPad in place (with an opening at the base to accommodate a charger) and it easily slides in or out. On the inside back cover is a sleeve to hold an accompanying reporter-style Volant Notebook with 96 plain pages (last 16 pages detachable) and a black soft cover that flips open at the top.
