Andrew - In New York City, the subway is a significant part of most peoples' lives. I draw people on the train, usually people that are asleep or people that don't seem to mind. Since you don't know when the person is going to exit the train, you have to draw quickly. Sometimes you might only have one or two stops. This way, I can always have a drawing at a finished stage, no matter how long I've been working on it. Thanks for making the best drawing notebook in the world. read more

Project Runway - Moleskine journals on the runway at the New York Fashion Week fashion show at Bryant Park in 2008 as part of Project Runway.

Project Runway is an American reality television series, hosted by Heidi Klum (she's also the executive producer), which focuses on fashion design. The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are usually restricted in time, materials, and theme.

For the final Project Runway challenge, the remaining designers prepare a fashion collection to be shown at famous New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park. The designs are judged by a fashion panel, including super model Heidi Klum, Elle magazine's fashion director Nina Garcia, and American designer Michael Kors. read more
