Shipping Information

Canadian Duties & Taxes are the customer's responsibility.

We're glad to be able to ship your favorite Moleskine products to Canada!

We're sure you know the drill, but we want to make sure you are aware that Canadian customs duties and taxes for shipments to Canada are your responsibility. Since we do not collect customs duties & taxes, you are responsible for paying for these upon delivery, if applicable. Please see Revenue Canada for more information on GST, PST and HST.

FedEx

If your order is delivered via FedEx, then a FedEx representative, on behalf of the CBSA, will contact you by phone to collect payment for any duties and/or taxes that are assessed. Please be sure to provide us with a valid phone number and email when placing your order to avoid any delivery delays.

Please do not ignore requests from the carrier regarding duty and/or tax charges, since most carriers will hold a shipment for 5 days after arrival in Canada before they return it to us. We do not refund original shipping and handling charges for shipments that are refused for delivery or abandoned at customs.

Canadian Post

If your order is delivered via Canadian Post, then the CBSA (Canada Border Services Agency) is responsible for assessing your shipment for applicable customs duties and taxes. If duties and/or taxes are assessed, then your package will be delivered along with the E14 Customs Invoice indicating the amount that you need to pay before your package can be released to you. Canada Post collects the fees on behalf of the CBSA and accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, Certified cheque, Credit card or Commercial account.
